“Feel like hardcore is in a weird place a lot of performative actions a lot of lines being blurred. What gravitated me to hardcore was not attention, not likes on social media or money from people who didn’t have, I started going because I finally felt like there was a place I could go be Marquis and let out all my negativity in this space. Frequently now when I get on social media and see how hardcore is being represented and treated I’m bummed. I think a lot of the newer people kids who started coming around after the pandemic should do some more homework really ask themselves why they’re here. I didn’t start coming to hardcore shows because the promoter booked “a great show” or because a photographer posted a viral pic. Shit is backwards listen to Warzone”
